Admission - DAL programme

 

To qualify for admission, and apart from the application documents, an applicant has to meet a number of requirements. The major ones are: 

 

the will to improve one's leadership skills and competencies, in conjunction with given professional requirements and career goals; 

 

  At least 5 years of relevant full-time professional experience, in most cases after having obtained an undergraduate degree.  

 

  to hold a bachelor degree from a recognised institution of higher education. 

 

to be able to combine professional activity, and personal life, with study. Major parts of the programme require self-defined timing for self-paced learning. 

 

the ability to participate in cross-cultural relationship-building. This aspect relates to the Summer residence during which there is extensive interaction with fellow participants from other nations, cultures, and professional environments.  

 

Places. With the aim of meeting the person-centredness and the quality-objectives of our programmes the total number of places in the distance learning DAL programme at INSIL is limited to maximum twelve. 

 

Programme start. In the asynchronous self-paced distance learning system programme-starts are possible year-round (except December, June, and July), but contingent on place availability in the programme.

 

Organisation, and course delivery. INSIL is the official organiser of the programme registered with the Ministry of Higher Education and Research in France. Under the association framework between the institutions, the actual course delivery and tuition is undertaken by the conjoint faculty of The Thierry Graduate School of Leadership and our institute (see also the "Source" paragraph on the Overview page).
