The total fees for the entire PALS programme, in distance learning plus residence, amount to Euros 18.068  

Financial aid is available for the Tuition Fees portion of each course unit, in the form of tuition reduction grants (the other types of fees listed below cannot be reduced nor waived).

The fees are paid per study-year. On the basis of 3½ to 4 years of part-time study in distance learning, plus the residence, the total fees per year are: (note: financial aid grants not taken into account here) 

Year 1: Euro 5.532

Year 2: Euro 5.864 (includes residence fees, but not the related travel, lodging and meals). 

Year 3: Euro 4.379

Year 4: Euro 2.293 (incl. matriculation for a full year, even if the programme is completed mid-year).

The fees are not subject to future increases for the participants who progress and complete their programmes within the individually agreed timelines.

Prior to admission into the programme there is a one-time application fee of Euros 145. 

Payment of fees (deposit, first year)

A deposit, not to exceed 30% of the first year's fees, is due as soon as the student has been admitted (usually the amount is Euro 1.500) . The remainder of the first year's fees is due before the start of the first course unit . When courses are attended at INSIL directly (not at an associate institution) the specific provisions set forth in the French law regarding distance education have to be complied with. 

Tuition fees for the post-PALS PhD stage (applicable since 1 November 2010)

Unless the PALS graduate wishes to complete the doctoral degree requirements at a university of his/her own choice, the additional requirements that need to be fulfilled for the degree will be organised by the institute. The tuition fees for the PhD stage at the institute are waived for the PALS graduates who completed the Diploma programme Cum Laude (with Honour), and who undertake the PhD stage directly after the PALS programme.
